Basic knowledge and skills regarding concepts, techniques, methods and processes for the development of larger software systems. These include basic knowledge and skills with regard to

  • the analysis and modelling of problems from application areas,
  • data and process modeling,
  • design principles, modularization and software architecture,
  • test procedures for software systems,
  • version management of software systems,
  • project management, quality assurance and software evolution.
