Contents

Supervised study of a mathematical problem or a problem from computer science with scientific methods. The work usually consists of literature work and independent work on the problem at hand. The Bachelor's thesis includes the appropriate presentation of the results in a written report.


Qualification Goals

The students are able to work on a problem from the field of computer science or mathematics with scientific methods under guidance and to present the results appropriately in writing.


Prerequisites

At least 132 LP must have been acquired. In addition, the following modules are required: Algorithms and Data Structures, Object-oriented Programming, System Software and Computer Communication, Technical Computer Science, Basic Linear Algebra, Basic Real Analysis, Efficient Algorithms, Database Systems, Basics of Advanced Mathematics, Elementary Stochastics.
