Supervised study of a problem from computer science with scientific methods. The work usually consists of literature work and independent work on the problem at hand. The Bachelor's thesis includes the appropriate presentation of the results in a written report.
The students are able to work on an extensive task from the area of computer science with scientific methods under guidance and to present the results appropriately in a thesis.
At least 132 LP must have been acquired. In addition, the following modules are required: Algorithms and Data Structures, Declarative Programming, Object-oriented Programming, System Software and Computer Communication, Technical Computer Science, Basic Linear Algebra, Basic Real Analysis, Career Preparation, Theoretical Computer Science.
