Contents

The Technology and Innovation Management module deals with the introduction to and fundamentals of the subject Technology and Innovation Management (TIM). The following topics are covered:

  • Subject matter and necessity of innovation management
  • Resistance, promoters, interface management
  • Strategic technology management
  • Innovation process and project management
  • Technology and innovation controlling
  • Success factors of innovations.

Qualification Goals

Upon completion of the module, students will be able to,

(1) describe and present the special tasks and contents of the management of innovations and technologies.

(2) demonstrate the relevance of technology and innovation management for strategic corporate management and

(3) differentiate the opportunities and risks of innovation projects and derive innovation-related knowledge management.
