Qualification Goals

Students will be able to,

  • work out a special topic in computer science independently,
  • can, if necessary, further develop and expand corresponding skills already acquired in the Selected Advanced Topics in Computer Science (''Seminar'') module,
  • to prepare and break down contexts in computer science and to supplement them with explanatory content,
  • to deal with scientific literature and to search for it,
  • give a structured presentation tailored to the competencies of the audience,
  • handle presentation media,
  • discuss computer science content in a structured manner in a group.

Prerequisites

None. Previous knowledge is recommended, depending on the subject of the seminar, but generally knowledge of the basic modules of computer science and mathematics.
