The module includes an introduction and in-depth study of models of individual decision-making. On the basis of these fundamental concepts, models of strategic interaction and aggregation are introduced, which are used in general equilibrium theory and game theory.


Qualification Goals

After completing the module, students will be able to

  • formulate theoretical models and apply them to real-world problems,
  • apply relevant microeconomic research methods such as optimization, general equilibrium analysis and game theory,
  • critically evaluate scientific literature and make well-founded comments on it.
