Home Participants Travel information Programme	The workshop takes place in the conference castle "Schloss Rauischholzhausen" (property of University of Gießen), located in the green surroundings of Marburg. The property was first mentioned in a charter book of the monastery of Fulda between 750 and 779; the present castle has been built between 1871 and 1878 in the style of an English manor house. We recommend the adjacent English style park for mathematical discussions between the talks.
	The workshop is generously funded by the VolkswagenStiftung. We shall be able to cover costs for accommodation and full board for approx. 40 participants; (partial) refunding of travel costs will only be considered in justified cases, in particular for young researchers and researchers from countries with low science funding. Please indicate clearly on your registration form if you would like to apply for funding. Regular participants pay accomodation and board directly to the Castle administration during the conference (cash or EC card, no credit cards!). Price for supper on Friday evening if desired: 12,- EUR + drinks. Price for extra night from Friday to Saturday includes supper (without drinks) and breakfast. All participants will be asked to pay a "drink lump sum" of 30 EUR to the conference secretary Ms. Teubner upon arrival. This will be used for serving mineral water and "Apfelschorle" in large 1 l bottles to all meals. No conference fee has to be paid. If the week turns out to be really hot and all people will drink water etc. in large quantities, then a supplementary payment may become necessary. Student prices will be offered to all participants (including Ph.D. students) who will present a valid student ID card (of any country) to the conference secretary. The Castle has only a limited number of single rooms (in particular, definitely not for all participants). Hence, we cordially invite you to note on your registration with whom you may be willing to share a room (separate beds). Many of the double rooms are in fact nicer than some single rooms, because the largest rooms in the castle were transformed into double rooms! We will try to accomodate everybody appropriately; in particular, late cancellations will be taken into account to put as many people as possible into single rooms. Being a conference hotel in a small village, the Castle has no night concierge. If you arrive late at night, please make sure to have the cell phone number of a participant that you know who will let you in. Once inside, the keys are lying openly at the entrance desk.
	The number of participants of the workshop has been increased to approx. 85 persons. About 65 will stay at the Castle, 20 participants will be hosted in the adjacent "Hotel zum Stern" at the entrance of the park (Zimmerplatz 4). Meals (except breakfast) will be taken together at the Castle. We will inform all people staying at "Hotel zum Stern" separately. The additional cost is approx. 70,-EUR (for the whole duration).
