Contents

Population geography deals with the spatial impact of demographic structures and processes. The spatial differentiation and spatiotemporal change of the population in its structure and dynamics at different scale levels (global, national, regional, local) are analyzed, explained and evaluated.


Qualification Goals

Students will gain an overview of the state of scientific knowledge and become familiar with basic correlations, specific methods and important technical terms. Students acquire subject-specific and interdisciplinary methodological and application competence for analyzing and evaluating spatially relevant issues of demographic change and spatial mobility.
