Contents

Students are familiarized with the basics of decision theory and learn how to make investment and financing decisions. They will also receive an introduction to the concept of interest rate structure and the measurement and management of risk.

In this way, students gain an insight into the theory of assessing investment and financing decisions and, in particular, are enabled to assess the possibilities and limitations of conventional investment calculation methods and to recognize the influence of risk on the solution of decision-making problems.


Qualification Goals

Students are taught to master basic financial management theories and tools. This ensures that the theoretical content can be applied practically.

By focusing on understanding interrelationships and linking theory and practice via case-based exercises and by involving practitioners in specific courses, future-proofing of the education is ensured.
