Definition and measurement of risk Portfolio selection theory, valuation theory under risk (Capital Asset Pricing Model, option pricing), introduction to hedging, payment forecasting under risk.


Qualification Goals

Students should gain insight into investment and financing decisions under risk. They will build specific skills for solving investment and financial decisions under risk. Students will be taught to master basic financial management theories and tools. It is ensured that the theoretical content can be applied practically. By focusing on the understanding of interrelationships and linking theory and practice via case-based exercises and via the involvement of practitioners in specific courses, future-proofing of the education is ensured.
