Contents

Lecture and exercise "Experimental Physics for Natural Scientists II" :

Electricity theory (electrostatics and electrodynamics), oscillations and waves, fundamentals of optics, atomic and nuclear physics.

Practical course "Phys. practical II for students of chemistry, mathematics and computer science" :

Work on 6 experiments from optics, electricity and nuclear physics.

Qualification Goals

Students gain important specialized knowledge about the interrelationships of electricity theory, optics, and vibration theory and are given their first insights into modern physics. Vibration theory is used to discuss cross-topic concepts. In the practical course, students learn how to set up measurement setups and how to observe, evaluate and present experimental investigations.

Prerequisites

Translation is missing. Here is the German original:

Für die VL Keine, Zulassung zum Praktikum nur nach vorheriger Teilnahme an der Vorlesung

Applicability

Module imported from B.Sc. Physik.

When studying B.Sc. Computer Science, this module can be attended in the study area Minor subject Physics.
