The module looks at business model innovations from a holistic perspective and examines the individual elements of these separately and in a theoretically sound manner. In addition, methods for evaluating and developing business models are taught:

Qualification Goals

The module provides essential practical and scientific skills. The module is recommended to students who aspire to work in the field of management consulting or the strategic management of a company. Theoretically, they will be shown the essential elements of business models and their interactions, as well as approaches to evaluation and development. This knowledge is tested in a final exam. On the research side, students are enabled through an independent case analysis to analyze business models themselves and to develop design approaches for the change and management of business models and to present these.
