Contents

Mathematical modeling techniques are applied, e.g., to problems of moral hazard, adverse selection, decision making under bounded rationality and imperfect contracting environments. Mechanisms to overcome the corresponding inefficiencies are discussed.


Qualification Goals

Students should learn to master basic theoretical models of institutional economics and thus acquire the competence to analyze macroeconomic and microeconomic problems with the help of theoretical approaches.
