Contents

An in-depth analysis of the roots and impacts of poverty in developing countries is provided. Imperfect markets for land, credit, labour and insurance are analyzed, and implications for policy-making are drawn.


Qualification Goals

Students will understand the role of poverty for sustainable development from a gender perspective. They will develop a deeper understanding of the role of education and the North-South relationship for global commons.
