Qualification Goals

The main objective of the module is to impart sound theoretical and practical knowledge from the field of management accounting (controlling) with a view to topics of value-oriented corporate management and control (value-based management). In particular, students should acquire the ability to apply, critically evaluate and further develop instruments of value-based management. By focusing on the understanding of interrelationships, the combination of theory and practice, as well as the application in the context of comprehensive problems (course work presentation) and the examination of what has been learned in the context of the module exam, a sustainability of the education is guaranteed.
