Qualification Goals

Students are familiarized with the basics of decision theory and learn how to make investment and financing decisions. They will also receive an introduction to the concept of interest rate structure and the measurement and management of risk.

In this way, students gain an insight into the theory of assessing investment and financing decisions and, in particular, are enabled to assess the possibilities and limitations of conventional investment calculation methods and to recognize the influence of risk on the solution of decision-making problems.
