Contents

Contents of the newer research from the area of system development are treated. The special technical orientation of the module is determined by the lecturer.

Qualification Goals

The aim of the module is the communication of new research results from current scientific contributions in national and international journals as well as from conferences in the field of theoretical computer science. In addition, scientific working methods (recognizing, formulating, solving problems, training abstraction) are practiced and oral communication skills are trained in the exercises by practicing free speech in front of an audience and during discussion.

Prerequisites

None.

Applicability

The module can be attended at FB12 in study program(s)

  • B.Sc. Computer Science
  • M.Sc. Computer Science
  • M.Sc. Mathematics

When studying M.Sc. Computer Science, this module can be attended in the study area Specialization Modules in Computer Science.

The module can also be used in other study programs (export module).

Die Wahlmöglichkeit des Moduls ist dadurch beschränkt, dass es der Theoretischen Computer Science zugeordnet ist.
