According to the announcement, various topics will be dealt with from a practical and/or current perspective, in particular from the following areas

  • enterprise resource planning
  • supply chain management
  • customer relationship management
  • product lifecycle management incl. product data management
  • enterprise information systems
  • E-business and e-commerce systems
  • management information systems

Qualification Goals

The students will

  • acquire basic knowledge and skills in the field of core business systems,
  • learn the theoretical foundations of the respective area as well as selected applications,
  • Practice working methods of business informatics,
  • improve their oral communication skills in the exercises by practicing free speech in front of an audience and during discussion.

Prerequisites

None. The competences taught in the following modules are recommended: Object-oriented Programming, Algorithms and Data Structures.
