Contents

The module introduces the statistical analysis of economic data. Major content includes scientific theoretical approaches, principles of empirical research, statistical principles, and bivariate and multivariate regression models.


Qualification Goals

The aim of the module is to introduce students to the theoretical and practical foundations of empirical economic research. Students should acquire the competence to develop an initial understanding of empirical relationships in economics and to be able to carry out small empirical analyses themselves.
