The module introduces the statistical analysis of economic data. Major content includes scientific theoretical approaches, principles of empirical research, statistical principles, and bivariate and multivariate regression models.


Qualification Goals

Upon completion of the module, students will be able to,

(1) Reproduce the theoretical and practical foundations of empirical economic research,

(2) identify the empirical relationships in economics and

carry out simple empirical analyses themselves.
