Qualification Goals

  • Understanding the use of business information systems (BI systems) for a company,
  • Acquisition of knowledge of known BI architectures and characterization of commercial BI systems,
  • Modelling of business application tasks with modelling procedures and their implementation using BI systems,
  • Reflective evaluation of the use of BI systems for simple tasks,
  • Practicing scientific working methods (recognizing, formulating, solving problems, training abstraction skills) and their application in the context of BI systems,
  • Training of oral communication skills in the exercises by practicing free speech in front of an audience and during discussion.

Prerequisites

None. The competences taught in the following module are recommended: Database Systems.
