Qualification Goals

The Advanced Management Accounting seminar takes place, for example, in the form of a case study seminar or a theory seminar. The aim is to record and structure concrete problems from the field of management accounting and to develop proposed solutions either for specific case studies and/or on the basis of existing academic literature. For this purpose, suitable concepts and theories are to be selected first, on the basis of which solution options are then to be worked out. The seminar thus imparts skills and knowledge relevant to both academic work and practice-oriented applications of information acquisition and processing, teamwork and the targeted processing of a selected problem from the field of management accounting.
