  • Design of models in information systems
  • Business Process Modeling Concepts (BPMN)
  • Event-driven process chain
  • Architecture of workflow systems
  • Creation of workflows for practically relevant problems

Qualification Goals

  • Acquisition of techniques for conceptual modelling of business processes and company data,
  • Getting to know modeling languages and modeling tools,
  • Understanding formal fundamentals in modeling,
  • Application and evaluation of the use of the techniques in the entrepreneurial environment,
  • Practicing scientific working methods (recognizing, formulating, solving problems, training the ability to abstract) and their use in modelling in practice,
  • Training of oral communication skills in the exercises by practicing free speech in front of an audience and during discussion.

Prerequisites

None. The competences taught in the following module are recommended: Software Engineering.
