Qualification Goals

The module - usually offered in alternation with the Advanced Management Accounting II module - aims to provide in-depth knowledge of the methods and applications of empirical research in the fields of (managerial) accounting, governance and finance on the basis of alternating topics. By linking theory and application, guiding students to conduct independent research, and writing up the results in the form of an examination paper, the module ensures that the course is sustainable.

The module is recommended for students who are interested in empirically-guided research in the aforementioned areas and plan to write their thesis in the field of Accounting and Finance.
