Contents

This module includes an in-depth study of the theories of industrial economics and organizational economics. Emphasis is placed on analyzing the influence of the distribution of decision-making power and the organization of information flow on allocation.


Qualification Goals

Upon completion of the module, students will be able to,

(1) explain frictions in markets and organizations,

(2) evaluate various institutional solutions; and

(3) reflect on the role of incentive compatibility and information disclosure and for the design of contractual arrangements.
