Contents

The module includes a basic introduction to the strategic controlling of companies. After a content-related differentiation of ''management accounting'' from ''financial accounting'' and a discussion of the tasks of management accounting, the discussion of selected instruments and methods of strategic controlling takes place along concrete questions and against the background of the corporate coordination problems to be solved.


Qualification Goals

Upon completion of the module, students will be able to,

(1) recognize the challenges of strategic controlling and

(2) understand, apply, critically evaluate, and further develop the essential tools of the subject.
