Qualification Goals

Students learn the empirical/practical implementation of models presented in the Asset Pricing Theory/Capital Market Theory and Selected Problems in Banking and Finance/Banking modules. In addition, the seminar prepares students for writing a master's thesis in the area of finance and banking.

In a first step (presentation), the basic competence to successfully write term papers and presentations will be taught. Then, in a second step, the competence to present and discuss proposed solutions orally (in presentations) as well as to elaborate in detail in writing (in term papers) will be taught.
