The course considers the development and evaluation of new business models. Examples of start-ups in these areas will be considered. Definitions, concepts, forms of business models, strategy and competitive advantages are discussed.


Qualification Goals

Students have essential practical and academic skills to understand start-up business, to start-up themselves, or to advise in this area. They know the essential elements of business models and their interactions, as well as approaches to their evaluation and development. They are able to analyze business models themselves in case studies and develop design approaches for the management of business models and present them.
