Qualification Goals

Students will be able to

  • recognize, draw and name molecules important for cell and energy metabolism in humans and explain their functions.
  • explain principles of energy production, signal transduction and regulation of metabolism at the cellular level and in the whole organism.
  • apply the terminology of biochemistry, molecular biology and human genetics.
  • formulate genetic questions in research and clinical practice and perform basic laboratory activities.
