Contents

The module teaches the basic features of individual economic decisions. These include the coordination performance of prices, household theory, and production theory. Students will learn simple economic optimization approaches within the various problem areas.


Qualification Goals

The module provides students with the basic skills for describing and analyzing economic issues that will be examined in the further course of study. The module is at the beginning of the students' academic training. Therefore, students should also acquire or train self-competencies. These include the ability to read and listen meaningfully as well as the ability to use follow-up time in a structured manner. Exercises for this will be integrated into the course.
