In the Business Information Systems- Data and Information Management module, the goals and tasks of information management are introduced. Special emphasis is placed on the management of data as an important corporate resource from which information for most business decisions is derived.
In particular, data modeling as well as data retrieval using the SQL language will be practiced on the computer in the exercise.
Qualification Goals
Students will be familiar with the problems and solution approaches of managing the information function in business. They will be able to perform database designs and interactively query databases.
