  • Special challenges of long-living software systems
  • Technical and organizational aspects of targeted software evolution
  • Methods, techniques, and tools for software evolution
  • Open problems in the software evolution

Qualification Goals

Aim of the module:

  • Getting familiar with a given software project in a systematic way,
  • Elaboration of a conclusive evolution plan,
  • Performance of a smaller evolution task,
  • Training of oral communication skills in the exercises by practicing free speech in front of an audience and during discussion,
  • Gaining experience in team work by project work.
