Contents

In the seminar

Presentations with discussion of current neuroethological research projects on the topics of prey recognition, mate recognition, locomotion, learning and memory, spatial orientation.

In the exercise

Topics depending on the choice of course

Qualification Goals

Sensory and neuronal mechanisms underlying specific behavioral performances will be elaborated and understood. Neuronal mechanisms of locomotion, prey localization and food acquisition, orientation and navigation as well as learning performances will be worked out as examples. Students will learn how to lead and stimulate discussion of literature in English and how to critically evaluate research results in topics that build on each other through active participation in discussions.
