Qualification Goals
Students learn the mathematical principles, physical modeling, and methods of statistical physics, which is an important foundation for broad areas of modern physics. They have specialized knowledge of the basic concepts of thermodynamics and statistics at both the classical and quantum mechanical levels.
Prerequisites
Translation is missing. Here is the German original:
Kenntnisse in Theoretischer Mechanik und Quantenmechanik
Applicability
Module imported from M.Sc. Physik.
When studying M.Sc. Mathematics, this module can be attended in the study area Minor subject Physics.
Die Wahlmöglichkeit des Moduls ist durch seine Klassifikation als Theoriemodul aus dem Master Physik (TM) beschränkt.
