International institutions (e.g., international organizations or regulations at an international level) as well as institutional issues (e.g., regional integration, provision of global public goods) are analyzed.


Qualification Goals

The aim of this module is for students to critically examine institutions relevant in international contexts and to use institutional economics approaches to analyze them. This provides students with the competence to analyze international institutional problems (governance problems) and to evaluate proposed solutions.
