Contents
Basic characteristics of holomorphic functions in several variables, introduction to sheaf-theoretical language, complex manifolds, line bundles and divisors, projective space and projective manifolds.
Qualification Goals
Students can
- explain basic characteristics of complex manifolds,
- understand and apply the interaction between local results of complex analysis and global properties of complex manifolds.
They deepen
- the practice of mathematical working methods (development of mathematical intuition and its formal justification, training of the ability to abstract, proof techniques),
- in the exercises, their oral communication skills through discussion and free speech in front of an audience.
Prerequisites
Translation is missing. Here is the German original:
Keine. Empfohlen werden die Kompetenzen, die in den Basismodulen sowie in dem Aufbaumodul Funktionentheorie und Vektoranalysis vermittelt werden.
Applicability
The module can be attended at FB12 in study program(s)
- B.Sc. Mathematics
- M.Sc. Computer Science
