Advanced topics from the fields of programming languages, software development tools and program analyses are covered, based on the basic modules in computer science.


Qualification Goals

The students will

  • Acquire basic knowledge and skills in programming languages, software development tools and program analysis,
  • Identify and understand challenges (e.g., modularization, reuse, maintenance, or ensuring consistency) in the various phases of the software development process (e.g., requirements analysis, design, or development),
  • learn and apply the development of theoretical concepts and empirical studies in the fields of programming languages, development tools and program analyses,
  • Gain experience in the use and development of modern programming languages, development tools and program analyses,
  • Improve their oral communication skills in the exercises by practicing free speech in front of an audience and during discussion.
