Topics from the field of computer science. The special technical orientation of the seminar is determined by the lecturer.


Qualification Goals

The students shall

  • work independently on a special topic of computer science,
  • acquire the ability to carry out independent scientific work,
  • learn to prepare, divide and supplement connections in computer science with explanatory contents,
  • learn how to deal with scientific literature and how to search for it,
  • practice giving a structured presentation tailored to the competences of the audience,
  • deepen the handling of presentation media,
  • develop the capacity for structured discussion of informatics content in groups.

Prerequisites

None. Previous knowledge is recommended, depending on the subject of the seminar, but generally knowledge of the basic modules of computer science and mathematics.
