Qualification Goals

Climatic geography focuses on the spatial impact of weather, weathering and climate as well as the interaction with abiotic, biotic and anthropogenic components. It analyzes, explains, and predicts the spatial differentiation and spatiotemporal change of climate, taking into account different scales (micro, meso, macro) and their transitions. Students receive an overview of the scientific state of knowledge of climatic geography and learn basic relationships, specific methods and important technical terms. They expand their social and communication skills through group work, discussions and presentations.
