Qualification Goals
The main objective of this module - usually offered in alternation with the Advanced Management Accounting III module - is to impart in-depth knowledge in the areas of (management) accounting, finance and governance. In particular, the participants should be able to recognize structures, classify concepts, identify their possible applications, and recognize their limitations in order to arrive at their own further developments on this basis, if necessary. By focusing on the understanding of contexts, the combination of theory and practice, as well as the application in the context of comprehensive problems (presentation) and the examination of what has been learned in the written exam, a sustainability of the education is guaranteed.
The module is recommended for students who are planning to start in the field of management consulting, controlling, financing, accounting or management of a company and who are prospectively aiming for a position as managing director, CEO or CFO.
