The module includes an introductory overview of arbitrage theory under security, investment valuation under taxes and transaction costs, portfolio selection theory (bonds and stocks), valuation theory under risk (capital asset pricing model, option pricing), and hedging.


Qualification Goals

Upon completion of the module, students will be able to,

(1) recognize and comprehend different approaches to advanced investment and finance problems; and

(2) make investment and financial decisions under risk.
