The module includes an in-depth examination of the theoretical and methodological foundations for the performance of institutions under market and/or state failure in different sectors, levels of aggregation (multi-level governance) and levels of economic development.
Qualification Goals
Upon completion of the module, students will be able to,
(1) deal with different application areas of institutional economics in a methodologically in-depth manner as well as
(2) analyze economic problems with specific sectoral reference at different levels of analysis and with changing perspectives and derive solutions to problems.
