Qualification Goals
Contrasts between urban and rural areas, rich and poor, inclusion and exclusion in processes of globalization are the focus of this module. Thus, issues in rural geography are linked to topics in development and globalization studies. These include topics such as global restructuring of agro-food networks and other industries, development and sustainable use of natural resources, global changes in agriculture as a trigger of social change, fragmenting development, development theories, and development cooperation.
The objective of the module is to analyze and understand spatial structures and processes of globalization from a relational perspective.

None.
Applicability
Module imported from B.Sc. Geographie.
When studying M.Sc. Computer Science, this module can be attended in the study area Minor subject Geography.
