Competences:
The students
- understand the basic principles of calculus in one variable and can use them for the treatment of geometric, scientific or technical problems,
- have mastered the basic concepts and techniques of calculus in one variable and are confident in actively dealing with the subjects of the course; they master the main theorems,
- use mathematical working methods on concrete questions, they can distinguish between mathematical intuition and formal precision and use and relate both components to each other,
- can judge concepts of calculus, assess their mathematical range and their use in high school teaching,
- know some historical developments in analysis.
Qualification goals:
The students know and understand the basic concepts and methods of calculus in one variable, they can apply them and establish references to their use in high school.
