Changing topics in controlling, such as mergers & acquisitions, (green) transformation, board and executive compensation, management impulses through KPIs in management and control systems, etc.


Qualification Goals

After completing the module, students are able to independently collect literature on selected management accounting issues, evaluate it in group work and compare it with case study-based evidence (theory seminar) or apply it independently in the context of a given case study (case study seminar) and then present the results to a (specialist) audience.

The module prepares students for writing a Master's thesis in the field of controlling/management accounting.
