Der Kurs behandelt experimentelle Methoden und zentrale Experimente wie das Ultimatum-Spiel, das Vertrauensspiel, das öffentliche Güter-Spiel und Spiele zu gemeinsamen Ressourcenpools. Die Studierenden lernen, Experimente zu entwerfen und zu interpretieren, prosoziales und antisoziales Verhalten zu analysieren und die Auswirkungen von sozialen Normen und Bestrafung auf die Zusammenarbeit in Gruppen zu verstehen.

Studierende sind nach Abschluss des Moduls in der Lage,

  • Schlüsselkonzepte und Theorien zu prosozialen und antisozialen Präferenzen zu erläutern,
  • experimentelle Methoden zur Untersuchung wirtschaftlichen Verhaltens zu verstehen und anzuwenden,
  • eigene ökonomische Experimente zu entwerfen und
  • Ergebnisse von Experimenten zu interpretieren und die Rolle von Fairness, Altruismus und sozialen Normen in wirtschaftlichen Interaktionen zu diskutieren.
