Scientific-theoretical and economic foundations of business administration;

Basic concepts and theories of value-based management;

Overview of the functional areas of business administration and basic principles/tasks of corporate management;

Instruments of corporate management, esp. corporate governance systems, strategies and planning, and organization.

Studierende sind nach dem Abschluss des Moduls in der Lage,

  • die gebräuchlichen theoretischen und institutionellen Grundlagen und Werkzeuge der Betriebswirtschaftslehre wiederzugeben sowie die zentralen Aufgabenfelder und Instrumente der wertorientierten Unternehmensführung zu benennen und zu erklären,
  • die Verknüpfungen zu den Lehrinhalten anderer Module sowohl der Betriebs- als auch der Volkswirtschaftslehre zu erkennen,
  • die wichtigsten Instrumente der Unternehmensführung wiederzugeben und einzusetzen und
  • sie mit der für die Lösung komplexer betriebswirtschaftlicher Problemstellungen erforderlichen Abstraktionsfähigkeit anzuwenden.
