The module introduces students to central fundamentals of macroeconomics. In addition to national accounts, students learn how to analyze macroeconomics in the short and long run. Important topics include growth theory and business cycle theory.

  • zentrale makroökonomische Theorien zu benennen und ihre Wirkungsweise zu erläutern,
  • die Modellergebnisse kritisch zu diskutieren,
  • Bezüge der Modelle mit realen Entwicklungen herzustellen und mithilfe der Theorien wirtschaftspolitische Schlussfolgerungen zu ziehen.
