Travel information

The meeting will begin on Monday, March 27th after lunch and will end on Thursday, March 30th before lunch.

Address of the Department: Campus Lahnberge, Hans-Meerwein-Str., Mehrzweckgebäude.

Marburg is easily reached by train. For train connections to Marburg inside Germany are via Frankfurt or Kassel - see the railroad timetables of Deutsche Bahn for details.

General directions to the Department may be found here.

The most convenient bus connections are:

  • Bus Nr. 7: use bus stop "Volkshochschule" or 'Erwin-Piscator-Haus'. Careful: This bus goes in circles, the shorter arc to the Department is via Hauptbahnhof (i.e., NOT through the city center) [timetable].
  • Bus Nr. 9: use bus stop 'Erwin-Piscator-Haus' (= town hall, accross the main building of the university) [timetable].
The name of the bus stop on Campus is always 'Hans-Meerwein-Str.'
