• Plane: One can fly to Sandane airport from either Bergen Airport (Flesland) or Oslo Airport (Gardemoen), see Widerø. Sandane airport is roughly 12 kilometres away from Nordfjordeid. One uses a taxi from the airport to Nordfjordeid. Joint trips in mini-buses may be arranged closer to the start of the conference.
• Bus: It is possible to take a bus from Oslo, Bergen, or Ålesund to Nordfjordeid. This would take around 9, 7 or 3 hours, respectively. For a schedule consult Vybuss, see also from Oslo, from Bergen, from Ålesund and the general travel site. Tickets can be bought on-board or on-line.
• Boat: If you are travelling from Bergen there is an express boat that can be used. It takes 4-5 hours Bergen to Måløy, see information on Norled. A local bus from Måløy to Nordfjordeid takes around 50 min. It is also possible to travel with the big coastal ship Hurtigruten all the way to Nordfjordeid, but it may be longer and more expensive.

The usual temperature in June is 15-20 degrees, but can occasionally fluctuate up to five degrees. The participants can look up the weather forecast at Yr a few days ahead of arrival. It is generally advised to bring a jacket and clothes which can withstand some rain.

Talks will start on Monday morning after breakfast and end on Friday late afternoon.
